January 5 is National Screenwriters Day, and in honor of this important day the Script Hive has voted for our favorite Movies and Television Shows of 2022! Below we’ve got our top 5 for each category. If you haven’t already, be sure to join the community to get access to many of these scripts, as well as 16,000 others!

Voting Process

Each member of the server is able to rank their top 5 movies & tv shows for the year. A vote for 5th place is worth 1 point; a vote for 1st place is worth 5 points. All the points are added up and that determines the ranking of each movie.

We received 36 votes, with a total of 510 points distributed across 57 movies and 506 points across 77 tv shows (not every ballot filled out all 5 spots). 24 of those 57 movies got at least 6 points and cleared the threshold to be ranked; 21 of the 58 shows did the same.
