Over the past 5 years, our server has accomplished some incredible things:
- We’ve collected over 16K screenplays for our script hub which is still FREE for all members to access.
- We’ve hosted contests, collaborated on scripts, introduced writers to managers, and inspired our members to write.
- We created the Killer Shorts Contest, which received a record 952 submissions this year and is going into its 3rd season.
- We created a podcast, and the On Spec blog.
- In 2020, we became a Discord partnered community!
- We provide FREE screenwriting classes, pitch workshops and seminars thanks to @Conor K. ✓ and his guest co-hosts.
- We created a weekly mixer for womxn screenwriters with an accompanying mentorship program.
- We’ve hosted 620 Titlepaloozas (and published a book), 150 Table Reads, 140 Writing Duels, and 55 One Page Challenges.
- We’ve seen 136 members reach Emerging Writer status, and welcomed 114 Verified Professionals (some of whom ascended before our very eyes).
- We’ve received generous support from 250+ VIP Members! (Okay, if you really want to give back, you can become a VIP too).
- We’re 6K members strong, and together, we’ve made a lot of progress.
