For me, Fade In has exactly the right amount of features and function for its cost. It’s not as expansive as Scrivener or as expensive as Final Draft, instead shooting right down the middle and letting me focus on my writing. The collaborate function isn’t as smooth as Writer Duet’s but there also isn’t a file limit.
In short, it does everything just well enough. Most importantly, I can use it to create a professional looking screenplay. For those that are looking for a solid, accessible, and affordable.
